Great for vegetarians!
As consumers we take things for granted or better still, don’t pay attention to things we probably should. This grill states that it is PTFE/PFOA free which is basically a Teflon spray that we’ve all used on pots and pans for decades, but it was banned for use in Canada about 8 years ago. The reason for its ban was when a product got heated up to a “warm temperature” it would release chemicals that were bad for us, and we’d literally eat it. With this copper coated grill using a silicone spray material which is certified safe in Canada under extreme heating conditions, means you can heat and eat your food safely……or if you BBQ anything like me, you can run your food! My wife is a vegetarian so I do try to keep one side of the grill meat free, but when the whole gang gets here it’s hard to do. Now I just put her veggie burgers and tofu-like food on this for a quick heat up, and I don’t have to worry about cleaning the grill right away. Word of caution (which I really shouldn’t have to do)……but the handles get super hot when BBQ’ing, so just remember that when it comes time to take it off……….I sure wish I had of remembered that the other day. LOL….

No warping, just good quality!

Simply wash it with warm soapy water or place it on the top rack of the dishwasher. However, be sure not to place it on the bottom rack of the dishwasher. Overall, I'm really impressed with this grill grid. It's easy to use, efficient, and makes grilling a breeze. The only downside I found was that it's difficult to turn fish over without breaking the skin. However, for everything else, it's a fantastic option.

Copper coloured nonstick coating, not made of copper.
The most important thing I can tell you about these grilling trays is that they aren't copper, they're a copper coloured non stick coating over what I assume is steel (hopefully still stainless). I'm mixed on my opinion of having coated grilling equipment as you have to be careful using standard grilling tongs and spatulas with these to avoid scratching the coating off etc. but at the same time the coatings make clean up much MUCH easier afterwards. Get yourself a nice long pair of silicone tipped or nylon tongs and spatula to go with this and you're in good shape. The trays themselves are well made, the metal is thick gauge and not easily bent - more than strong enough for holding any food you might ever want to put on. The handles are large enough to be reasonable to use with mitts and the walls on the three sides are tall enough to keep food from falling off accidentally. These trays will absolutely make grilling veggies and other small things way easier.

The copper makes it look really chic
The copper BBQ grill was a must have for my husband. We have others but none have the built-in handles which makes it easy to carry the grill wherever you need it. And none are copper! The copper makes it look really chic, and it’s a double-coated non-stick material. The walled edges of the grill are another great feature, as they prevent food from falling off and also help to keep the heat inside the grill. The grill measures 11" x 7", which is the perfect size for a small gathering. Cleaning the grill is a breeze. The grill is top rack dishwasher safe, which means you can simply put it in the dishwasher after use and let the machine do the work for you. Remember that it needs to be on the top rack, I’ve made the error with some copper measure cups in the past, and the heat of the dishwasher damages the copper coating.

Found this tree to be a bit small, if you are on your own maybe not so bad for a small meal any more than two people you should start to consider something a little bit larger. We did have a few items slide off the pan and into the grill Which is a plus and minus. The plus is it really shows off its nonstick abilities the minus we lost the vegetables. The colour looks pretty good however, I’m not sure how long that will last as some of the spots around the handles look like they were already flaking. Once on the barbeque in the pan got hot there was no way to rotate for shuffling around without having to use mats and attachable detachable handle, would’ve made sense here, I suppose that’s a different price point. Vegetables I did stay on the trade not burn it is an OK trade.
