I am trying to like them

Quality seems to be very good. They are stiff which is good and bad. They are putting pressure on my shin bone during normal use when pointing your toe like shifting or walking. My wife immediately wasn't having any part of them and I returned hers. Pros: Good protection, warm, stiff and I like the styling Cons: Shin irritation while in motion, warm, Stiff and the thickness of the toe gives me trouble when trying to shift, I have to exaggerate pointing my toe to reset the shifter. Hoping the break in a little.

You have to evaluate this within the context of its price. So, for about a hundred bucks one gets: -about as much impact & flex injury protection as one could hope for in a boot of this height. -A rather decent-looking boot devoid of any cheesy design elements. -a really surprisingly comfortable fit. (I would normally get a size 12 US, 46 EU, but went with a 47EU based on reviews for Oxford boots in general.) -A shockingly NON-slip-resistant sole. Freaking scary when you're trying to hold up an 800 lb. bike at a stop on wet asphalt. Converse All-Stars are better in this respect. For me, the worst shortcoming of this boot. -Very competently stitched / assembled construction throughout. I've religiously avoided any Pakistani goods for the last 12 years or so, based on crappy experiences. But no complaints here. -Fairly decent to walk around in, as long as you're not on a slippery surface (wet wooden deck=on your a$$.) Side note: I got these to use with a heavy old Victory Tourer, for which they worked pretty OK. But when I tried them on my '74 BMW R90/6, they were unusable. Difference being the hunched forward, rearset peg attitude of the BMW. These boots do not want to flex at the ankle, making the use of brake/shift really troublesome. But anyways, I think you get a lot for your money here. PEACE! -

Sizing is not accurate

I wear 11 and a half, ordered size 12. So tight I could not put these boots on. Returned!
