Love the splitter, the rest leaves something to be desired.
My cats are pretty mischievous. When the bowl is empty, they'll paw it around the room trying to get me to fill it up. This obviously isn't good for an automatic feeder. The single bowl comes with a ring that attaches to the feeder to keep it from going everywhere, but this double bowl kit does not come with a double bowl ring for some reason. I ended up getting a raised double bowl (see picture) and using a bungee cord to affix everything to my cabinet. It works fine, but now the bowls it came with are useless. I would much rather it come with a double bowl holder than the divider which I don't plan on using. All in all, the price for me was a little high since all I needed was the divider but now paid extra for stuff I don't need. That said, this is a great divider! I was using a 3rd party one for a while but it was 3D printed and had a rough texture, so it was causing food jams with smaller kibble. This one works great, doesn't jam, and fits perfectly. An added bonus is that it makes the opening too small for my cats to try and tamper with the device to steal food. Both cats can eat simultaneously without fighting. A wonderful compliment to a really good feeder. Love the app, the notifications of feeding (especially while I'm away) and the ease of setup.

Great Buy!
We have two cats, with one cat that dominates the food bowl. This was a great buy for us - both our cats get the same amount of food and the barrier blocks them from seeing each other while they eat. No more power struggles for food.

PetSafe does it again
I’ve been using the pet safe automatic feeder for five years now. It was about time we bought the splitter since we noticed one cat bullying the other over feedings. So far, I am extremely satisfied with the installation and function of the splitter. The affordable cost is worth the investment. As you can see in the photo the cats are enjoying their own bowls.

Fabulous product if you DIY modify for 2 cats
Worth the $, has made my life so much better! My cats used to wake me up EARLY to eat and I had to rush home from work to feed them at night. App is awesome, you can set times and portions, get notified when they're fed, and get an alert when the food is low. My cats are on a diet so it handles the measured portions well down to min of 1/8 c. They were scared of it the first time (get your phone ready so you can take a funny video;) but that lasted only one feeding. Only caveat is if you have 2 cats, the splitter (separate purchase) works great but isn't designed to work with the included bowl holder, so the cats knock the bowls all over the floor between feedings and then the food pours on the floor! Solved this by purchasing separate metal bowls with nonslip silicone and high sides that fit under the spouts (see pic)--almost impossible for the cats to pull out from under spout, & now we're all set. Bowls have to be over 2in. high to fit under spout if you want them to catch like this (mine 2.5) Recommend activating lock feature, as cats will learn to push the button on top (or sit on it like my cat in this photo;) and give themselves extra snacks. ;) Lock feature works great once activated.

Works, but what a pain to initially program!
My two cats have been using this for about a month now and have gotten used to it. I bought the optional portion divider, so it will fill two bowls at once. It works fine. The only drag about this product, is the programming interface. My Son-In-Law warned me about how much of a pita it is to program, as he has one as well. It is not intuitive and it's pretty darn confusing programming it. I have it set to dispense 4x in a 24-hour period. They should have simplified the number of inputs needed, as well as more clearly labeled what the buttons do. There is no writing on the keypad, just symbols. How about a sticker printed in English, French and Spanish, that has real words on it and overlays the buttons? How come they couldn't add a button that says "FEED NOW", in case you want to give them some extra ? I dread the day the batteries go dead in it, and I have to reprogram it again. It's clear, they spent very little money on the actual design of the computer chip and the software for it. Aside from that, I've had no issues and the cats are okay with it.

Nice but a bit flimsy
If you have pets that don’t like to share meals this is the way to go. My cats don’t like each other so this divider works like a charm. I don’t really like how it hooks on to the feeder, you really have to make sure it’s in there just right. If the cats bump their dish it falls off. But overall it works well and I would recommend if you have multiple pets.

The 2-way splitter works so great
I love that I can go away for the day or longer and trust that my cats will no longer fight, or worse eat the others portions and one cat has too much to eat and the other cat has nothing to eat. It works exactly as it says. I love everything this product has to offer and highly recommend it for all your pets to use .

The idea is nice but it’s not sturdy and it causes the chute to clog, even with using mini pieces of food.

DOES NOT FIT THE HEALTHY PET SIMPLY FEED AS CLAIMED
Claims to also fit the PetSafe Healthy Pet Simply Feed, it doesn't fit. It's too tall and lifts up the front of the feeder, and the part that goes into the chute doesn't sit flush either, so it's useless for this model.

It’s in the title basically, I ordered the meal dispenser with a meal splitter; only got the meal splitter. Pretty useless.

Fragile e non cosi semplice da usare
L'idea di per sé sarebbe geniale ed una volta montato funziona a dovere. MA quando è arrivato il momento di smontarlo per pulirlo risulta evidente la mediocre progettazione e produzione dell'oggetto. Attenti allo smontaggio: si rompe abbastanza facilmente, poiché è formato da tre pezzi separati, uniti da degli incastri striminziti. Inoltre è fatto di una plastica sottili e fragile. L'assemblaggio poi non è così semplice come sembra, poiché, dopo che è stato già assemblato il distributore, bisogna ruotarlo facendo attenzione che il serbatoio non si stacchi perché lo tiene fermo solo la gravità, poi bisogna prima inserire la parte posteriore e quindi facendo leva quella anteriore finché non si incastra del tutto (deve arrivare a battuta sulla seconda serie di stop): insomma, il produttore non si è scervellato troppo a progettarlo in maniera semplice e robusta.
