Nice replacement for wired trailer lights.

After patching the wiring several times due to hungry rodents I decided to look at a wireless solution. These lights attach magnetically and the magnets appear to be very strong. Brightness in full sun appeared sufficient. My only critique is that the product listing specifies AA batteries when in fact it needs AAA batteries, so I had to put in another order to AAA batteries (luckily I had enough at home already so these will be future replacements.

Great for older trailers but had to modify

I love these lights. Only thing I would recommend is some sort of mounting bracket instead of magnet bases but you can modify them. I drilled and tapped the backside area with 1/4-20 and if you have a flat area towards the back just drill the trailer and run the bolt thru and have enough threads to put a washer and lock nut on the end of the bolt. Also the energizer ultimate lithium batteries work the best I went on a 10 1/2hr trip and never replaced the batteries. The only con I have is the radio signal will mess with the tps in the tires of the vehicle but after you turn off the lights and unplug the transmitter it will reset itself back to normal

Seller won’t respond

It worked great, but the wireless receiver fell out on first trip. I tried to contact seller to purchase a new receiver and they will not respond. The locking mechanism will not hold the receiver in the 7 pin plug, so put tape or something on it if you don’t want to lose it on the highway.

Worked Well with One Modification

My biggest concern when considering this light set was that some reviewers said the lights fell off--the magnets were not strong enough. I couldn't have that. I wondered if there would be a way to screw the bracket into my trailer, and after studying the photos and illustrations, I decided I could do that. I was right. I drilled 2 holes into each bracket, matching holes into the trailer and used bolts and wingnuts to securely fasten the lights. The wireless transmitter was easy to connect and it worked perfectly. Even with the modification, this kit saved me a ton of time and money eliminating the need for wires. The only suggestion I have is for the manufacturer to pre-drill holes for this option. Overall, very pleased.

Great signal and break light system for towing!

Just got a big RV and little tow car. Lots involved in getting car rigged for towing, with base plate, tow bars, etc. So didn’t want the expense and install challenges of a wired signal lighting system. These wireless magnetic lights are perfect. So simple! Just flip the power switch on the left & right battery operated lights and set them on the rear section of the car’s roof. You just need the wireless adapter plugged into the back of your RV. Magnets are extremely strong. Very large lights are quite visible to other vehicles. I just take them off and set them in the floorboard of the car when not towing.

Near perfect fit

The lenses fit perfect but as others have said the screw holes in the large len are not counter sunk so your original screw may not be long enough. Hopefully you have kept your old lense gaskets because the set does not include gaskets.

Interference with car fob

It works well, but it interferes with my fob for my car. I plugged it in and my fob was not recognized anymore and I could not start the car. So I unplugged it started the car first and then connected the transmitter and everything worked, had to do that after each time when I turned the engine off. So I think the frequency interference from the transmitter comprised my fob.

Needed One then immediately after receiving...

Ordered kit for fast delivery of the main stop lens on my trailer (broken). After replacing the one I needed I walked around the trailer and noticed red side marker was broken out. Bing!! I just received that one size and color lens. Of all the different running light lens covers and Stop lens covers that could have been in that kit the two needed where there. I was able to immediately replace the broken pair. The kit was lower in price and available sooner than the single stop light lens cover. So I received the kit and unexpectedly fixed two problems quickly.
