Just what I was looking for.

This Pro mariner maintainer went above and beyond my expectations. Right out of the box I could tell by the weight and feel of the unit that it was very well made. When I plugged it in the first time it was working perfectly on my battery. I do a lot of night time catfishing so this maintainer will be great for keeping my boat battery up to full potential. It is a great addition to my boat.

Good Price.

This charger was installed on my dump trailer from the factory but stopped working within about two months from purchase. I contacted the charger’s manufacturer as well as the trailer manufacturer and they would both replace it under warranty. But, in both cases, I would have to either mail it to them or bring the whole trailer in and wait. Well it turns out I can just buy it here, as a direct replacement, for less than the cost of gas to take the trailer in.

Brand name in the Marine industy

I am not a rich man so I research and I buy quality. I have used a Pro Marine charger to maintain my boat batteries for several years with no issues. So when it came time to buy maintainer for my wife Cadillac XLR, I brought Pro Marine. This unit has taken care of a car that is driven less than 600 miles a year and sits as a garage queen most of the time. The car has never failed to start. No electronic issue and I have yet to change the old battery in the 4 years we have owned it.

Worst customer service!

I purchased this item February 2020. A year to the day was getting my boat ready for fishing/boating season. I kept the charger under my boat cover all winter long. This charger was plugged in all winter. I went to turn my graphs on and update the software. I noticed my graphs were not turning on. I looked at the charger and noticed the lights were not on. I tried plugging the charger into another source and still no luck. I pulled the battery out and noticed the battery sides were bulged out. I spoke with a few battery professionals and they all said my battery was over charged. I called the company and was informed they would look at the charger but I would have to pay the shipping and handling...... this is a charger that was exactly a year old. I was not happy about having to pay $16 to ship this back to them. I then asked what they were going to do about my battery that their device ruined I was basically told that was not their problem. I have never been treated do bad by a company. Not to mention the first lady I talked to at the company acted like this charger failing is a common issue. I will NEVER EVER spend another dime on a ProMariner item again.

Maintains the battery!

Other trickle chargers, if left plugged in, will drain the battery and thereby have destroyed it when you return a month later. This charger has the circuitry to see if vampiric draining has occurred and start trickle charging again. This is my third Promariner - keep up the good work guys!

Combats parasitic battery drain

Permanently installed this unit in the trunk of a Mercedes sedan, behind the trunk lining, wired through a spare fuse position to unswitched B+. Installed a little window to allow the LEDs to be seen. Unit works just as advertized and tops off the battery with an overnight run 2-3 times a month. The design of this car provides small but measurable parasitic draw on the battery, and leaving the car idle for more than a couple of weeks risks having to jump start it. This unit eliminates that problem altogether.
