Great roller for stretching calves

I love this half roller for stretching my calves and achilles tendons before a run. In previous years I used to do that on the stairs, but this house has no stairs. The 18-inch roller (actually 17 3/4 inches) is perfect size for this, big enough for two feet in running shoes. I usually leave the roller by the kitchen sink so I can hold on there and look out the window while I stretch. It's very light, takes up little space, and is very sturdy--tolerates running shoes very well. I guess you could use it for working out cramped muscles and other things, but I got it as a solution to stretching calf muscles since I have no stairs. Terrific roller!

It Works

The roller works as intended. It does provide relief but should not be viewed as a total answer for your back pain. Consider it as a compliment to your therapy regimen. Firm and well made.

Very dense

I got this for some posture exercises and it did bruise part of my back after my first day of a 10 minute set bc it is very dense. Keep that in mind and maybe ease into it.

Very dense

This product is of good quality, and delivery was fast and efficient. I wanted to use it for Pilates, but it was way to dense, to the point of discomfort, might be better for other things. It did say high density on the description, so it was a matter of seeing it in person.

Good quality high density half round foam roller

This product is very good quality. It is very very firm. It could have been a little bit softer for me. If you are looking for a softer foam this is not the product for you. I will update my review in a few months if the product does not prove to be durable. So far I don't think that will be an issue.

You should buy it!

I bought this for my ACL and Meniscus rehabilitation. Mainly use for balance exercise and stretch for cuff, but it’s good for stretch for spine as well. This is perfect size and very solid stuff

Very hard

It is described as "foam" so I was expecting something a bit softer. But it is hard expanded polystyrene, with no give at all and not very comfortable to use.
