This is a serious lasagna pan
I'm not Italian but on the inside I am... at least when it comes to my lasagna. I mean I just found a good recipe that I stick with and people love it. But I was forever putting a pan under it to catch the overflow drips. Just the price of doing a good lasagna I though. Then I found this pan Game Changer.. No more dripping as this thing is DEEP... like it's made for my recipe... Soo happy to have this Easy to clean up No rusting What's not to like You can find ceramic pans that are about the same size for less money but cast iron is a great pan if you ask me. And this pan is like 60-70 bucks and I've seen them on Amazon for 200+ Recommended

GORGEOUS!
I have been using this lasagna pan for many months, the ceramic coating has not chipped, cracked, scuffed or burned, and the cast iron is very high quality and doesn't stick when taken proper care of. I have made some amazing baked pasta dishes and roasted a few chickens with roast vegetables in this pan and I absolutely love the quality and love how beautiful my dishes look when served out of this gorgeous roasting pan!

Smaller than it looks
This is a great roasting pan, super heavy and durable. I love Rachael Ray products and have high hopes. The pan is not as large as it might appear. It would hold maybe a 10 pound roast or bird at best. It does scratch easily, like most cast iron products. Overall, it was a great pan to cook with!

Perfect Pan Size for Lasagna, Casseroles, Ratatouille and Baking Bread
[Pros: Heavy weight cast, Solid Clad Exterior finish for easy clean up, interior treatment appears to live up to the marketing Con: Can scratch it] A great clad cast iron casserole dish that is ideal for a family of for or a couple who are doing smaller meals. Already having a MASSIVE cast clad lasagna dish that I can cook for 10 or more, this one meets a very specific need in our cooking and baking. As you can see (picture) we tested it out first with bread. Most of the time we use a large Dutch oven for sourdough and Chicken Cassoulet. With sourdough it allows us to get a uniform heat and a consistent bake on all of our bread. Wanting to do traditional milk doughs - lighter, fluffier breads - the question as to how to cook it came up. The oven - like all oven's in rentals - is terrible and cast helps us work around that. With this pan I was able to bake a long loaf - not French or Italian length but longer than I can manage in the Dutch Ovens - and the cook time was spot on. The price is consistent with this quality of cookware and this is not the type of item you are likely to have to replace. Being cast the metal is, as with all cast, scratchable. The clad and the interior finish appear to resist this and both make for quick clean up.

The weight is nice texture is not
The weight and size of this dish are superb but the texture of it is an unfinished cast iron feel which is uneasy fir me. Texture is very important to me. I will be donating this item.

This is a gem! Made well and truly cast iron
now this is heavy, so if it is for someone older, you may have to help them. Overall, it is a beautiful color, very well made, and authentic.

Excellent quality
So this is super heavy, it is excellent quality, it literally is a beast. I really love everything about it except for the instructions ha ha ha. The reason I say that is not because the instructions are poorly written. They are actually written properly. It’s because there are so many of them. I am one of those people who likes to be able to put things in the dishwasher and not have to worry about whether I need to hand wash something or specifically wash some thing in a certain way. So this pen actually has a lot of instructions when it comes to how you care for it. I was hoping that this non-stick version had less instructions than atypical cast iron pan. Either way the functionality of the pan is exactly what it says it is. It works very well. It distributes he evenly. And it still is rather easy to clean up.
