Very easy to move
This is my second one for my patio, they work great, and you don't have to leave them in one place connected to a table since the base is SO strong. I used sand to make it heavier.

Sturdy and easy to setup
I bought this umbrella stand for my deck that gets really sunny in the spring & summer. It was really easy to setup -- just 4 small bolts in each of the 4 swivel wheels. It even came with the allen wrench, so no tools required. It seems to be constructed well with a solid plastic body and strong-looking wheels. I love that it can move around easily -- with full freedom of movement instead of just tipping and pulling 1 way on two wheels. And the wheels lock so it stays put once you have it where you want it. It's handy that you can load it up with sand or water. I'm using water since it's easier. Overall, this is a great addition to my deck and will make summers a lot better.

Works ok
I appreciate that this holds down our umbrella, however its always tilted a bit to one side. It would of been great if it had 3 screws to screw in the pole of the umbrella ( like how you would screw in the trunk of a Xmas tree to give you an idea) Seeing that it only has 1 screw to hold the umbrella in, it pushes it to one side so it doesn't stand up straight. Otherwise it works ok and wheels make it fairly easy to move.

A great movable umbrella stand for pool decks and concrete patios
Living in the Southern California low desert, it is important to have umbrellas that provide shade in multiple areas of the pool deck or patio. In order to accomplish this, I have opted for movable umbrella stands versus multiple umbrellas positioned on heavy stands. After being frustrated with heavy metal and concrete stands that were not really all that portable, I saw this one on Amazon and given the good price, I decided to try it. I am very pleased with this stand. It has a large base that can be filled with either or both sand and water. I filled mine with water and it provides sufficient weight to be stable, yet still be easily moved around different areas of our pool deck. This is a well designed freestanding umbrella stand at a great price compared to others that I have purchased in the past. My only concern is that it is primarily made of plastic and I'm not sure how long it will last. Given the low price compared to other competitive stands it would not break the bank to replace it given how well it works.

Ease of Transport
Being able to roll the umbrella instead of lug it and the heave the solid base is a nice change of summer scenery. This stand holds the umbrella sturdy and can be rolled around the table instead of staying only in one location. Since it rolls we can change the location out on particularly sunnier times of the day. The base keeps the umbrella from swaying because of its stability. What we needed. thumbs up
