Great when they fit
These seem quite secure when they click into place, but some outlets in my home are older and the covers won't click and can just be pulled right out. Not sure why that is, but if you have more modern outlets they should be great

Not easy to remove
Unlike some of the flat plug covers, these are more difficult for determined children

These are not super easy to remove which is GREAT!
My 1 and 5 year old could not get these out. These are exactly what we needed! Would buy again!

BEST Outlet covers ever!
I have been providing child care in my home for 30 years now. I gave it a 1 for easy to remove because that's the point they shouldn't be easy to remove or a child can do it. Every other outlet cover is so easy for a child to remove and then they sit there and try to put it back in. Not once has a child been able to remove this one!

Can be hard to remove
Pulled the socket out of the wall once

Hard for babies and adults to remove! Haha
If I can hardly remove these things, then you know a baby won’t be developmentally ready to handle a task like this! My hubby can remove these easier than I can. No more worrying about little fingers and random objects finding their way into our outlets!

Excellent
Very hard to remove, and that's the point, isn't it?

Work Great - Can Be Removed "Easily"
Ok so lets be real here... You are not going to buy these because they are easy to remove... The last thing that you are going to do is buy an outlet plug that your toddler is able to remove. With that being said these are fairly easy for a functioning adult to remove. I would assume that any smart and logical child would be able to remove them as well and hopefully at that point the logic would also tell them not to stick anything but a plug in the socket. One could only hope. Getting the hang of removing them can be a little tricky, but not near as bad as some of these reviews claim to make them out to be. You just need to push in the left side of the plug to then be able to push the pin down on the top. While holding the pin down you can wiggle the plug loose from the outlet. Like I said it can be a little tricky at first, but do it a couple of times and it gets easier. At the end of the day I purchased these to keep curious hands from getting fingers, toes, or toys into the outlet and they do an amazing job at that. We have them on every outlet in the house now.

Hard to remove, even for adults
I only wanted a dust cover for my powerbars to be honest. I assumed that this would be easy snap on and easy snap off but the two way depress needed to unlatch and the fact that the parts don't move smoothly to begin with, makes it very hard to remove. Not sure if oiling the springs will make some difference. Ended up using the flat side of a pocket knife to pry it off while unlatching. Good if you don't plan on using the outlets. I think mine are going into the trash.

Excellent product! Must have for anyone with infants!
These things are fantastic! Some of the other reviewers have complained that these are difficult to remove and that was the reason I bought them. If adults have problems then my 1-year-old son should in theory as well. 6 months later he has yet to remove any from the wall and I have witnessed him try a few times with no luck. I originally bought just one pack to try out and then bought 30 more to put on every outlet in my house. These can be removed single handed. With your right-hand, use your thumb to press-in the left, your middle finger for the right, and then use your index to push down on the center post/pin. You will need to jiggle it slightly and then it should pop out. It may take you a week to get use to the mechanics of it, but I can do it one-handed with ease while holding my son in the other arm. These are so much better than the cheap plastic ones that just slide-in. My in-laws bought those for their house and my son has learned how to remove them already and had to replace them with some of these in his frequent play areas. For the extra $50 it cost me to get this over the others, the safety of my son is my highest priority. So maybe I skip ordering a pizza one week and make some pasta or rice instead and call it even.

Nope - didn’t work.
These definitely are easy to remove.... Too easy! They didn’t even latch into our plugs (which are the standard plugs in CANADA). They basically come out so easily —- that my infant son plays EVEN MORE with the outlet and tries putting it in and out. In and out. Well Now in the garbage. Waste of money completely.

Great but only works in certain outlets
I love the locking feature, but unfortunately they only worked on a few outlets around my house. The locking mechanism is pretty short so if you have older outlets or just ones that are thicker then it will now click in properly. On the ones it did work for it’s amazing!!

Safety issues.
MY 17 month grandson was able to easily take it off. Maybe I didn't install it correctly, but I followed directions . When my grandson pulled it off he thought it was a game and tried to put the piece back in the outlet. That became very concerning for us. If this item is not made to be locked in place at all times and children unable to pry it loose then it is not a safety item.
