Buy a bit more than you need and choose the good ones, return sub-par ones.
I really liked these but only about 50-60% showed up working perfectly. I could use some of the more difficult ones for less-important uses but I wish I was able to use them all as intended. I'll probably get more but have to go through them to only keep the ones that work smoothly. Update (Nov2018—changed from 4 to 5 stars): Just picked up another half-dozen for my kit and they went 6 for 6 this time. Now I have extra bolt snaps for future uses so I'll live. Really glad they sorted that out.

Didn't get what I ordered but what I got seems well made...
So the review is about what I received vs. what I ordered. The picture shows a regular "bolt snap" however, I received a swivel "snap hook". In other words, the attaching part (not the metal swivel loop) is more like a carabiner attached to a swivel loop (see picture). You just push the "wall" of the attachment part "in" (not down like a bolt snap). I'm going to keep it as i have other bolt snaps and it may be handy to have something that works a bit different but what I got was not what I ordered and it's not worth the effort to return it. For what it's worth, what I got seems very well made.

You can't order a specific clip, a generic one will be sent
We ordered these clips for a customer who wanted a specific style number because of a smooth, precise action to the clip. We entered the style number off of the package from a prior order and paid extra thinking we were getting exactly the clip we wanted. What we got was a clip that looks the same but doesn't work as well. Because we are working to a deadline and the clips do fulfill their purpose we are keeping them. We are dissatisfied because we paid extra for a generic clip.

usin it for keychain, and its the best one I ever used
I have used and busted a whole bunch of these things as keychains. I searched amazon from most to least expensive and found this one. Glad I did. Its made a -lot- better. This one ought to be much harder to bust.
