Tiny, cheap, reliable device breathes new life into old lawn mowers, chain saws, snow blowers, etc.

I bought a Stens Mega-Fire II Universal Ignition Module (p/n 440-465) from MowTownUSA in October 2011 to fix a dead Toro CCR2000 snow-thrower with a 4.5 HP 2-stroke engine (from 1994). It was easy to install (although I had the polarity backward the first time) and still works great eight years later! I squirt a little carb cleaner or starter fluid into the carburetor to help start up (and keep the jets clean), and the engine always starts within two pulls. The OEM part (Toro Xstar Magneto Module) was $166, so I saved a bundle!

Fit the purpose!

Used it on a FC290V-CS10 9hp Kawasaki motor on a JD GX75 rider mower to replace the OEM ignition module that had failed. It was less than half the cost of the OEM part, works good, quality product
