I use this to help tame my daughter’s super fine fly-away baby hairs. It helps keep her braids more smooth for longer. And it smells really nice! This picture is at the end of a school day…about 8 hours after I braided her hair.

My hair isn't thick or thin, it's about in-between the 2. However, it is straight as a board and refuses to much of a curl. I can't explain how much I love this product in words. I love this so much that I want to jump up and down like a little girl. I will continue to purchase this product over and over. I have used this on dry and wet hair. The best way, on my hair, to use this product is damp. If you use it on dry hair it can be a little stinky and hard to comb through. If you use it on wet hair the braids are still wet when you wake up. I used it last night on hair that was dry but I sprayed it with a little water to get moisture back in it. I also don't like the braided/crimp look, so I twist my hair all the way around my crown. Of course, the tighter your twist/braid, the tighter your curls will be. Also I used about 3 pumps on my hair from root to end. You really don't need as much as you think. It also does what it says it will, NO FRIZZ. That's the best part! I just love the way it make my hair look and feel. The curls also stay in for days without falling out too much. That's a huge deal on it's own for hair like mine. If I curl my hair it usually falls out in a few hours or less. This is by far the BEST product on the market for the intended purchase. Update: I already have to update my review and I've only had it for a week. I cannot stress how much I love this product. It really is magic in a bottle. I added more photos showing my process. I twist my hair on the sides on my head. The photos with the mirror shows what it looks like right after I take out the twists. The next 2 photos show how it looks when I'm done combing them out and they settle a little. They settle and do NOT fall out of my hair and last for 2 days. I don't even have to hairspray them. This product is so amazing that it make me look like I have naturally curly and beautiful hair. I cannot get over it.

Worth the buy!
Love this product!!!!! It smells so good! I was worried because I have long thick hair, but a little goes a long way with this product! It holds my braids in overnight and also tames my hair when I take the braids out. Definitely recommend!!!

The Beachwaver Braid Balm is awesome! It does exactly what is advertised, smells wonderful and holds my braided waves beautifully without feeling “crunchy”. It makes my hair super shiny and tames the frizz. Love this product!!

This stuff was worthless but half a star isn’t an option! It was the equivalent to putting water on my hair had no hold no point did nothing for me and my $20 dollars. Thank goodness for Amazons return policy ! I can not believe people purchase promote recommend mention etc…. This product is a waste for reference, I have thin fine hair.

AMAZING
I was trying to find a pre-braid product that would keep my braids from looking "fuzzy" after an hour or two and this is it!!!! Super easy to use, you just finger comb it through your hair. Next time I might not focus so much on my roots like the instructions tell you to do because it made my hair look a little greasy. But THESE BRAIDS!! This is after 6 hours at work with a stethoscope coming on and off my neck and my hair brushing against me...Braids are locked in! I wish there was a little more product for the money... for someone with super long hair I felt like I needed to use a lot of product to get the right texture before braiding.

Held French braid in overnight
French Braided my daughters hair before bed using this product in wet hair. In the morning the braids looked great and held in overnight for her to be ready to go for the day! Also smells great!

I love that I can braid my hair wet and when I wake up frizz free and super easy to style my hair. It’s as if I added moisture back into my dry and dyed hair.
