The water isn't as loud as I would like, but...
...I really like the fountain. We have table top fountains in various rooms in our home, and we really enjoy the sound of a babbling brook-type thing. Most of our fountains make little to no "water" noise; you might hear the pump vibrate if the little suction cups of the motor come off the bottom of the container. So this fountain is just really pretty...love the blue'ish LED lights (normally, we are "warm white" light people, but these really work for this "washboard, waterfall" fountain. The lights are a bit bright, but if you push one, or two, down further into the hole, they appear less bright. You can even put the river rocks over them to dim the light. You can also opt to take the three lights off (they plug in to a a connector (which you also plug the pump into). The fountain/base is a resin and/or plastic material, very lightweight. We've only had it a few days and we really can't hear the water (or the pump, which is good!). I'm finagling ways to put some of the river rocks over the water source on the top to see if I can get it to make more of a babbling brook sound. The pump does have a little button that is supposed to adjust the water flow through the fountain. Seems like there are two adjustments (plus an off adjustment). But in order to change any of these, you have to take the river rock off the base/fountain, then lift it up, the pump comes up out of the water in the container and you have to play with the adjustment and plug in the fountain again to see which flow you've set it on. I mean, it's not *that* big of a deal...everything gets wet, just do it on the counter with a towel. I really have yet to figure out if any of those settings actually contribute to how much sound the fountain makes with respect to the water. Play with it and see. They also could have included a few more river rocks, but I have plenty, so I added more and these are something you can pick up at a craft store too. There's no on off switch. The length of the cord is decent. I also see no splashing of water outside the fountain, which is good ~ nothing gets wet outside the base. You should be aware of a whirring sound of the motor (or actually, any sound that is louder and different) because that indicates you need to add more water to the fountain. The pump quiets down right away after the water is added. Simply pour water on top of the river rock until the pump quiets down, maybe add a bit extra (you can add it up to the base where the river rocks are) and enjoy!

Easy to assemble, although it doesn’t have the lights. It’s a good thing I don’t need the lights or I’d be disappointed.

Hook up don't work
I tried to hook up the adapter for the lights under the candles and it won't connect at all highly disappointed I bought this for my prayer room to bring relaxation during Ramadan

Nice but flawed.
The media could not be loaded. Didn’t come with led lights and pump not strong enough to push water evenly. Very quiet. Would have been better if I had lights. Not worth hassle of returning.

Feeder Tube 1 inch too short
The only way the pump is not loud as all heck (which defeats the soothing purpose of the fountain) is to secure the suction cups on the pump to the bottom of the fountain base. It was difficult to accomplish (was barely able to do it after much fuss) because the tube attached to the top section was about 1/2 inch too short to be able to do it with any ease. I understand the tube cannot be too long as the bend in the tube caused by the excess length will then not allow the top section to seat properly on the base (as the top weighs almost nothing) and thus the fountain will not work but there has to be some happy middle ground. Also-better assembly directions-especially on how to seat the pump on the bottom and the tricky method by which one will have to manipulate the base to be able to connect the tube to the pump would be very helpful. They should also make it VERY clear that the wired connector for the lights is NOT water tight and that section of the wire assembly should be left out of the water and behind the fountain. Despite those problems all in all it is a fine little fountain- I just could do without the stress of assembly.

Get what you pay for
I don't hate it. It's smaller than expected, the sound isn't as loud as I thought either. I got this to turn on for bed time to relax.

the pump might die
I love this fountain however within a year the tiny pump died. The seller left no contact info so I was unable to find a pump that I trusted to be compatible, so I ended up buying a whole new fountain

Works well
Easy enough to install and set up. The water falls quite a distance so it's loud, not a soft trickle of water. But pretty. The lights and actually distracting and their cable/cord isn't with the water so it gets wet and corroded on first use.

Not worth the money! CHEAP, NOT USER FRIENDLY
The item does not come with a power switch to turn it on or off as you'd like. To turn the fountain off you have to unplug it each time. The "relaxing" notes of the water hitting the rock you are supposed to be hearing is overpowered by the noise of the motor. In addition, the lighting is horrible. I purchased another fountain from Amazon for $50 with 14k reviews, that one is much much better than this for function. The only benefit this one gives is it looks a tad bit nicer to the eye.

Disappointed
Somewhat disappointed, led light is to bright , I think it was over priced for the quality

Cute and quiet
The media could not be loaded. I was so concerned about the pump and the noise before I received this little cute water fountain. Because of so many bad reviews here. Luckily I received the good one, but don’t know yet, how long it’s last for. Hopefully it won’t die soon.
