Open de bankschroef door de handgreep van de bankschroef linksom te draaien. Plaats het item tussen de gekartelde kaken. Sluit de bankschroef door de handgreep van de bankschroef met de klok mee te draaien totdat het item stevig in de gekartelde kaken zit, blijf vastdraaien totdat u het item niet meer kunt verplaatsen. Niet te strak aandraaien omdat dit het item en/of de bankschroef kan beschadigen. Wanneer u klaar bent met werken aan het item, draait u de schroefhendel tegen de klok in om het item los te maken. Good enough

Well constructed vise jaw covers and just what I needed to protect some delicate projects. They do that. 4 stars for the magnets being weak but I knew that going in. Every brand I researched the reviews said the magnets were marginal.

Protect wood when using a metal vice

Decent vice jaw protector

These are built really well with several angles cut into the face of the rubber jaw to hold smaller items at various angles. These were 6” which was 1” wider than my vice and the magnets were not as strong as I’d hoped for.

good vise accessory

The magnets do a great job holding it in place. It protects work pieces from metal vise jaws. It's a very grippy rubber that does not easily slip.

Defective Jaw, I Did Not Recommend, now I Recommend - Very Good Customer Service

First day of use, one of the three magnets came loose (there are three per side). I contacted Yost about this, and Yost responded very quickly. Yost's response - get some super glue and glue it back in place. I responded that I didn't want to repair the item as they suggested, I had no confidence that the remaining magnets would stay in their place. I did not hear back from Yost subsequently. The jaws are being returned to Amazon. I do not recommend this product. Part 2 - Received belated email from Yost, apologizing for delay in responding and advising a replacement jaw was being sent. I was pleased to receive Email and am not returning jaws after all. As a foot note - before loss of magnet I had used jaws to hold a threaded rod in place while cutting it with an angle grinder. The jaws held the rod firmly in place and did not damage the threads, an outcome which would be impossible without the jaws Part 3 Yost replaced the jaws very quickly, Yost stands behind their products. I applaud them for that.

Nice set of soft jaws with one design flaw

Purchased these to assist in assembling iron pipe lamps and other "industrial" home décor. Generally I like them though they are a little softer than I would prefer. It's challenging to find something that will not mar the metal while still being strong enough to hold it secure when applying a lot of torque. Like most soft jaws, these have several rare earth magnets embedded in them to hold them against the vise's metal jaws. The issue with these is that the magnets are located directly in line with the primary groove that runs the length of the soft jaws and if you clamp something round (or any shape I might guess) too tightly, you risk cracking or breaking one or more of the magnets. Rare earth magnets are very brittle by their nature. The design would benefit from having the magnets offset away from any of the clamping grooves. I only broke one of the magnets and the jaws are still completely functional but depending on your environment, having little flecks of really strong magnet material floating around could cause problems.

Good quality at a good price

Great vice jaw protectors. These arrived quickly at a competitive price. I have yet to out then through their paces but they seem to be well regarded from others here. Also the supplier/manufacturer seems to provide good product support and warranty. One thing I was wary of was one review I read that said the recipient had received two of the same side therefore making the protectors useless or nearly so. The slots in the protectors did not line up when used. Mine arrived as promised and look great. Time will tell. So far recommended.

Buenas muelas

Es un accesorio útil cuando uno trabaja con cosas frágiles o delicadas, ya que evita marcas en las piezas al ser sujetadas para cortar, limar o ajustar. Tiene diferentes patrones de muescas que ayudan a posicionar piezas en diferentes ángulos o inclinaciones. Los imanes que tienen para fijarse a las mordazas del tornillo de banco tienen suficiente potencia para mantenerse fijas al estar trabajando. Lo recomiendo sin duda alguna.

Works great! Patterns line up.

So there was a review that said they don't line up... they do? They line up perfectly, you can use this to clamp multiple thicknesses of tubing it needed. It does not scratch pistol slides btw, not even Zamak airsoft slides. These are pretty nice buys, I wish they were a little cheaper but they are good enough to be worth the money.

Magnet's NOT strong at all.

Just tried these out and couldn't believe they say "strong magnets" in the description. I sent them back because they would just keep falling off my Bessey 6" vice.

Great purchase!

Great purchase! Outer magnets just fit inside my Craftsman bench vise. Plan to use it to hold a spare chainsaw bar to enable me to sharpen chains removed from my chainsaw later this summer when I try out my chainsaw sawmill. I will be swapping chains in the field and so the chains will not all be on the chainsaw to sharpen. The rubber jaws of the UP-360 will grip without marking the bar.
