Unfortunately, now I have the item to hand, it is a smidgen too wide to fit over the arched top of my (modern) front door, so it is hanging in an east-facing patio doorway to catch the morning sunshine and really looks the part, with the colours gently twinkling in the change of light and I love it. The quality piece came impeccably packed for safe transit in an enormous outer carton, well packed out with crumpled paper. Inside is a large, plain cardboard box, which is lined with corrugated cardboard & a polystyrene-type material, with the brackets & chain packed separately in a cut-out. The glass, which has been oiled, is further protected in a plastic type bag. Once released, the rustic-looking item weighs around 1.25 kg. It comes complete with an informative leaflet that includes a cleaning guide (also available as a PDF online). It measures around 61 cm across x 28 cm high. The matte-finish BLACK frame is approx 0.5 cm thick. Each quality, shiny BLACK chain is around 44.5 cm in length. The mounting brackets measure 8 cm x 1.5 cm. These have two screw holes pre-drilled. No screws are provided. The sturdy outer frame has elegant, scroll-shaped hanging brackets. With a definite front & back, defined by the two shiny RED gems being of rounded finish on one side, the window can hang in two formats, using the supplied black chains complete with snap hooks. Either a single chain can be hooked over a central point, optionally using one of the wall brackets supplied, or it can be hung using two chains to hang vertically using two wall brackets. The wall brackets have the same scroll-shaped design so complementing the window frame itself. The shield-shaped centrepiece can be painted on, to personalise, but I have not attempted this yet: Manufacturer Detail: ????
