I bought a cheaper brand (Spa Time) but the smell was very strong. This is almost odorless and does the job.

Note: This is not a sanitizer. It is used with bromine tablets to "boost bromine longevity". This wasn't clear to me. I bought the wrong item. No ones fault but mine.

Don't listen to people who don't know what they are doing!
So many reviews claim this doesn't work. It does if you actually pay attention. This is Sodium Bromide not bromine. You have to shock the water after dissolving it to activate / change it to bromine just like you do after the bromine is used up and converts back to sodium bromide. It is called a bromide bank for a reason people.
